AEW star Eddie Kingston was reportedly recently suspended from the company, and has since commented on the news.

Eddie Kingston has not been seen on AEW TV for a number of weeks. Most recently, Kingston was seen in a backstage segment, showing anger at a video package of Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti before the couple were due to get married. Kingston would then challenge The Spanish God to a match, which was never accepted by Guevara.

The recent report of the suspension comes courtesy of Fightful Select, which states that both Guevara and Kingston had developed heat, which then developed into an altercation. It is being reported that the altercation started when Guevara made a comment about Kingston’s weight.

At the time of writing, no further developments for a match between Kingston and Guevara have taken place for All Out.

In an update published by PWInsider, Kingston has provided a comment on the reported altercation. Kingston has confirmed the suspension and that he was wrong for being unprofessional.

“You know the truth. I wouldn’t lie. I was wrong for being unprofessional. That is the blind fact. He did what he did and the public can judge that but I know for a fact I was wrong.”
