Multiple NXT and NXT UK championships will be unified at the NXT Worlds Collide Premium Live Event, which takes place on Sunday September 4th.
The first two titles to be unified will be the NXT and NXT UK Championships. WWE United Kingdom Champion Tyler Bate would confront NXT Champion Bron Breakker on the August 23rd episode of NXT. Bate congratulated Breakker on the victory at NXT Heatwave, but stated that he wasn’t just in the USA to collect airmiles. Bate stated that he is the last NXT UK Champion, then issuing the challenge to unify the titles. Breakker would respond by saying that he respects Bate, and agreed that there should only be one NXT Champion, accepting the title for title stipulation.
The second unification match taking place at NXT Worlds Collide concerns the NXT and NXT Women’s Championships. A contract signing segment took place backstage which saw NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose, NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura and challenger Blair Davenport. The three superstars will compete under Triple Threat rules, with the winner walking out with both championships.
The line-up for Worlds Collide is as follows:
- Bron Breakker (NXT) vs. Tyler Bate (NXT UK) – Singles match to unify the NXT and NXT UK Championships.
- Mandy Rose (NXT) vs. Meiko Satomura (NXT UK) vs. Blair Davenport – Triple Threat match to unify the NXT and NXT UK Women’s Championships.
