NXT will feature a championship being defended and a Lights Out Match taking place on the show.

The championships being defended will be the NXT UK Tag Team Championships. Multiple NXT UK talent made shock appearances during NXT Heatwave on August 16th. One attack saw Gallus attack The Diamond Mine, then turning their attention to NXT UK Tag Team Champions Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen. Gallus will get their shot at the titles on NXT.

Another shock appearance at NXT Heatwave was the United Kingdom Champion Tyler Bate. The 2 time NXT UK Champion confronted NXT Champion Bron Breakker after the main event of NXT Heatwave. Bate will be in action on NXT as he will face off against Von Wagner in singles competition.

Wendy Choo and Tiffany Stratton have been attacking each other over the past few weeks. The rivalry will come to a head on NXT as Choo and Stratton will face off in a Lights Out Match.
