The August 17th edition of AEW Dynamite will be broadcast live from Charleston, West Virginia. The show is also being sponsored by the HBO series “House of the Dragon” which is a prequel to the highly successful “Game of Thrones” series.
There is a lot of excitement regarding the continuation of the trios tournament match taking place on Dynamite. Andrade El Idolo, Rush and Dragon Lee will face the team of The Young Bucks and a mystery partner on the show. While not confirmed, many are anticipating the return of Kenny Omega in this match.
Two second generation tag teams will collide on Dynamite. Following their defeat in the dumpster match against The Acclaimed, The Gunn club will hope to pick up a victory against The Varsity Blonds on Dynamite.
The argument as to who the better wrestler is between Bryan Danielson and Daniel Garcia will be settled on Dynamite. Danielson and Garcia will face off in a 2 out of 3 falls match on the show. It has also been announced that wrestling legend Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat will be the special guest timekeeper for the match.

- Toni Storm vs. KiLynn King
- Andrade El Idolo, Rush and Dragon Lee vs. The Young Bucks and a mystery partner.
- The Varsity Blonds vs. The Gunn Club.
- Bryan Danielson vs. Daniel Garcia – 2 out of 3 falls match. Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat to serve as special guest timekeeper.
