The ratings for the August 12th editions of WWE SmackDown and AEW Rampage have been published. On average, 1.927 million people watched SmackDown and 528,000 people watched Rampage. The numbers have been obtained via Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:
Compared to the previous week, SmackDown has seen a decrease in viewers while Rampage has seen an increase. As the August 5th SmackDown drew an average audience of 2.093 million, the drop calculates to approximately 8%. SmackDown obtained a key demographic rating of 0.44, also down from the August 5th rating of 0.49.
The August 5th Rampage drew an average audience of 468,000, meaning that the increase calculates to approximately 12.8%. Rampage obtained a key demographic rating of 0.17, also up from the 0.15 rating from August 5th.
SmackDown saw the surprise return of Hit Row to WWE. Rampage saw Bryan Danielson address his future in AEW.
