Roman Reigns will be returning to SmackDown on the August 19th episode and id due to meet Drew McIntyre face-to-face on the show.

The Tribal Chief and The Scottish Warrior are due to collide at the Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event on Saturday September 3rd. The main event of Clash at the Castle will see McIntyre challenge Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. The segment is being promoted as a verbal battle between Reigns and McIntyre, as opposed to any physicality due to take place. It should also be noted that recently returning superstar Karrion Kross is also referenced in the promotional material, stating that the former NXT Champion may be making an appearance in the segment.

The continuation of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament and a Viking funeral are also advertised for the August 19th SmackDown. The line-up announced so far is as follows:

• Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre to meet face to face
• The Viking Raiders to hold a Viking funeral for The New Day
• Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark vs. Natalya and Sonya Deville – First round match in the tournament to crown new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
