The Hit Row faction made a surprise return to WWE on the August 12th edition of SmackDown.
Top Dolla, Ashante “Thee” Adonis and B-Fab would be announced as surprise opponents for two enhancement talent. The team received a very positive reaction from the WWE fanbase when their music hit.
Adonis and Top Dolla would easily dispatch the local competitors, hitting the Heavy Hitter double team finisher to pick up the victory.
After the match, B-Fab re-introduced the group to the WWE Universe, reminding the fans of who they were and finishing stating ‘If you don’t know, now you know.’
Hit Row were part of the November 2021 round of WWE releases. It should be noted that the original line-up contained Isaiah “Swerve” Scott. However, following the release, Swerve would go on to sign with All Elite Wrestling. The former Isaiah “Swerve” Scott now goes by the name of Swerve Strickland in AEW, where he currently one half of the Tag Team Champions with Keith Lee. B-Fab, Adonis and Top Dolla chose not to sign with a major promotion following the surprise release.
The return of Hit Row continues the surprise WWE returns taking place since Triple H took control of WWE creative. The August 5th SmackDown would see the shock return of Karrion Kross and Scarlett, while the August 8th Raw saw Dexter Lumis emerge in the crowd and be ejected by security.
