WWE Announces Triple H As Head Of Creative

WWE have announced that Paul Levesque/Triple H will be the head of creative moving forward.

The announcement was made on the WWE Corporate page on Monday July 25th. The press release also states that Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan will be the co-CEOs moving forward. The full statement is as follows:

WWE® (NYSE: WWE) and its Board of Directors today announced the appointment of Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan as co-Chief Executive Officers. Ms. McMahon has also been appointed Chairwoman of the Board, and Mr. Khan will continue to serve as a member of the Board. These appointments follow Vince McMahon’s retirement announcement on Friday, July 22.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to lead WWE together with our unmatched management team,” said Ms. McMahon and Mr. Khan. “We recognize this is a tremendous opportunity and responsibility, and we look forward to serving the WWE Universe.”

Additionally, WWE executive Paul Levesque will assume all responsibilities related to WWE’s creative, in addition to his regular duties.

Triple H, who was named the Head of Talent Relations on Friday July 22nd, will be taking over creative control from Vince McMahon. The reason for the change is due to McMahon announcing his retirement later on the following day, relinquishing all duties as CEO and creative control.

This will not be Paul Levesque’s first time in a creative role. Levesque previously served as the head of creative during the black and gold era of NXT, which transformed the brand from a gameshow format to a successful third brand in WWE.
