The July 20th edition of AEW Dynamite will continue the Fyter Fest special theme. The show has advertised a Barbed Wire Deathmatch and the Interim AEW World Champion competing on the show.
The rivalry between Eddie Kingston and Chris Jericho will be coming to a climax on Dynamite. Kingston vows to finally make Jericho bleed by facing off against the inaugural AEW Champion in a Barbed Wire Deathmatch. To prevent the Jericho Appreciation Society members getting involved, all of the JAS will be suspended in a shark cage for the duration of the match.
Following Christian Cage’s turn on Jungle Boy and aligning with Luchasaurus, the duo will team for the first time at Fyter Fest. Christian Cage and Luchasuarus will be facing The Varsity Blondes on Dynamite.
The following matches and segments will be taking place on AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest week 2:
- Chris Jericho vs. Eddie Kingston – Barbed Wire Deathmatch with the Jericho Appreciation Society members suspended in a shark cage
- Christian Cage and Luchasaurus vs. The Varsity Blonds
- Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta vs. The Best Friends
- Jade Cargill, Kiera Hogan and Leila Grey vs. Athena, Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale
- Darby Allin vs. Brody King
