A new report has been published that goes into detail how much it would cost to book Sasha Banks for a signing event.
The report comes courtesy of Fightful Select, who have reached out to several promoters both inside and outside of the wrestling world. Fightful Select were told that the asking price would be $30,000 to book Mercedes Varnado, aka Sasha Banks. The promoter that was spoken to about this price described it as “exactly as expected.”
In terms of how this asking price compares to other superstars, the report states that this is a similar cost to what it would be to book AEW star Sting. It was also mentioned that the only wrestling talent more expensive is Ric Flair, Goldberg, Shawn Michaels, and Hulk Hogan. The report concludes by saying that the $30,000 price tag is for non-wrestling appearances only. The quoted price to wrestle a match is still to be determined.
Mercedes Varnado/Sasha Banks hit the headlines earlier in the week by being announced for the C2E2 convention in Chicago. This will be the first booked appearance of Banks since the former Women’s Champion walked out of Raw with Naomi, and was subsequently suspended. The current WWE status of Banks is unknown, but it should be noted that the advertised appearance at C2E2 has no mention of WWE in the promotional material.
As stated on the C2E2 website, it will cost $70 to get an autograph with Mercedes Varnado and $90 for a photo op.
