WWE have announced that Vince McMahon will be appearing live on the June 17th edition of SmackDown.
The former CEO, who has stepped away from his duties while the WWE board conducts an investigation, will be making a rare in-person appearance in front of the WWE Universe.
It should be noted that Alex Sherman, who reports for CNBC, is stating the the appearance by Vince McMahon will be as the WWE character of Mr. McMahon, as opposed to addressing WWE as the owner of WWE. It has also been reported that the script for the June 17th SmackDown has been torn up by McMahon himself.
Also announced for the June 17th SmackDown is a Universal Championship defence by title holder Roman Reigns. The Tribal Chief will be putting the title on the line against Riddle.
