A stipulation has been added to the upcoming Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match, which will see Roman Reigns defend against Riddle on the June 17th episode of SmackDown.
Paul Heyman was a guest on Miz TV on the June 13th episode of Monday Night Raw. Heyman was initially talking to Miz about the upcoming Money in the Bank matches, and how this could be a threat to Reigns’ lengthy title run. Riddle would interrupt and would promote his upcoming match this Friday. This was when Paul Heyman made the announcement that if Riddle loses to Reigns on SmackDown, then The Original Bro can never challenge for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship as long as Reigns holds both titles.
Riddle earned the opportunity on the June 10th SmackDown by defeating Sami Zayn. The stipulation for the number one contenders match was that if Riddle won, he would receive the future title shot. However, if Riddle lost, he would be banished from SmackDown. following the former Raw Tag Team Champion’s victory, Reigns had the following to say on social media:
