Jeff Hardy Arrested For DUI In Florida

AEW star Jeff Hardy was arrested in Florida on Monday June 13th for driving under the influence amongst other charges.

According to the Volusia County Records in Florida, Hardy was arrested on the following 3 charges:

  • Driving with a licence that was suspended/cancelled/revoked.
  • Violating restrictions placed on Driver’s Licence.
  • DUI Alcohol/Drugs 3rd Offense within 10 years.

According to country records, Jeff Hardy was booked into the Volusia County Corrections Facility at 12:45 local time and released at 19:45 local time.

ESPN’s Marc Raimondi has provided more information on the circumstances of the arrest, which have been published in a police report. Raimondi reports that Hardy was seen swerving and smelled of alcohol upon exiting his vehicle.

In a follow up Tweet, Marc Raimondi states that Hardy scored a 0.294 in a breathalyser test. As the legal limit in Florida is 0.08, this makes Hardy more than 3 times over the legal drinking limit.

Jeff Hardy was due to team with his brother Matt to take part in a 3 way ladder match on Dynamite against champions Jurassic Express and The Young Bucks. This match is no longer listed to take place on the June 15th episode of AEW Dynamite.
