The ratings for the June 3rd editions of WWE SmackDown and AEW Rampage have been published. On average, 1.939 million people watched SmackDown and 475,000 people watched Rampage. The numbers have been obtained by Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:
Compared to the previous week, both shows have seen an increase in viewers. The May 27th SmackDown drew an average audience of 1.878 million, meaning that the increase calculates to approximately 3.25%. SmackDown saw 613,000 people aged between 18 and 49 watch the show, equating to a rating of 0.47. This is also up from the 0.43 rating from May 27th.
AEW Rampage obtained an average audience of 341,000 on May 27th, meaning that the increase calculates to approximately 39.3%. It should be noted that on June 3rd Rampage returned to its usual timeslot, which explains the bump in ratings. Rampage saw 183,000 people aged between 18 and 49 watch the show, equating to a 0.14 key demographic rating. This is equal to the may 27th rating.
SmackDown saw the final build to the Hell in a Cell Premium Live Event take place. Rampage’s biggest story was the heart-breaking announcement that CM Punk announced that he was injured, and will require surgery.
