The June 1st edition of AEW Dynamite will be airing live from Los Angeles in what will be a debut appearance in the city for All Elite Wrestling. The show will mainly focus on the fallout from the Double or Nothing pay-per-view, which took place on Sunday May 29th.
At Double or Nothing, CM Punk defeated “Hangman” Adam Page to become the new AEW World Champion. The champion will be having his first match since capturing the title, teaming with FTR to take on The Gunn club and Max Caster.
Also at Double or Nothing, The Jericho Appreciation Society defeated The Blackpool Combat Club, Eddie Kingston and Santana and Ortiz in the Anarchy in the Arena match. This rivalry is not yet over as Jon Moxley will be facing Daniel Garcia on Dynamite.
A women’s tag team match has been announced for Dynamite by AEW president Tony Khan. Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament winner Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. will be in action teaming with Jamie Hayter. Baker and Hayter will be facing Owen Hart finalist Ruby Soho, who will be teaming with Toni Storm.
