Adam Cole Wins Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament

Adam Cole defeated Samoa Joe in the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament, which took place at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view.

The match saw multiple counters and technical wrestling take place. Multiple near falls took place as both competitors would lock in submission holds onto their opponents. The ending of the match would see Bobby Fish interfere, who hit Joe’s arm on the rope as the referee was distracted. Cole would go on to hit the Boom onto Samoa Joe to become victorious.

Cole’s path to victory saw him defeat Dax Harwood in the quarterfinals, Jeff Hardy in the semi-finals and Samoa Joe in the final. Joe would defeat joker entrant Johnny Elite in the quarterfinals and Kyle O’Reilly in the semi-finals. After both the men’s and women’s finals concluded, both winners were present on the entrance ramp. AEW commentator would introduce Dr. Martha Hart, who was accompanied by AEW President Tony Khan. Hart presented the prizes to winners Adam Cole and Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.

It has also been stated on commentary that the title belts that were presented to Cole and Baker are prizes for winning the tournament, as opposed to being defended on TV.
