The ratings for the May 13th editions of WWE SmackDown and AEW Rampage have been published. On average, 1.893 million people watched SmackDown while 340,00 people watched Rampage. The numbers have been obtained by Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:
Compared to the previous week, SmackDown has seen a drop in viewers while Rampage has seen an increase. As the May 6th SmackDown drew an average audience of 1.998 million viewers, the drop calculates to approximately 5.3%. SmackDown saw 522,000 people in the key 18 to 49 years old demographic watch the show, equating to a rating of 0.40. This is also down from the 0.46 rating from May 6th.
The May 6th Rampage drew an average audience of 292,000, meaning that the increase in viewers calculates to approximately 16.4%. Rampage saw 157,000 people aged between 18 and 49 years old watch the show, equating to a 0.12 rating. This is also up from the 0.11 rating from May 6th. It should be noted that Rampage is currently starting at an earlier time, which would explain the lower ratings.
SmackDown announced that a title unification match will be taking place on May 20th. Rampage continued the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament.
