Queen Of The Mountain Match Announced For IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary

An iconic IMPACT Wrestling match stipulation will be making a return at the Slammiversary pay-per-view.

It was announced that a Queen of the Mountain match will be taking place at the June 19th event, with the Knockout’s Championship being defended in the signature stipulation.

IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Famer Gail Kim was in the ring to address the live crowd in attendance. Kim announced that the Queen of the Mountain match would be taking place with Knockout’s Champion Tasha Steelz putting the title on the line against Jordynne Grace, Chelsea Green, Deonna Purrazzo and the recently returning Mia Yim.

While this is the first time that the Knockout’s Title will be defended in this match type, the King of the Mountain match has been used multiple times throughout TNA and IMPACT Wrestling. The rules of the match are as follows:

All competitors start out as ineligible. To become eligible, a competitor must obtain a pinfall or submission over another competitor in the match. The person defeated must then go into the penalty box while the eligible competitor can attempt to hang the prize on a hook suspended above the ring. A ladder will be required to hang the prize above the ring.

The following matches have been announced for Slammiversary:
