More Matches Announced For AEW Double Or Nothing 2022

Multiple matches have been added to the card for the AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view on the May 11th edition of Dynamite.

The first match announced will take place on the buy-in pre-show, which will see Danhausen and Hook team up to face Tony Nese and Smart Mark Sterling. In Danhausen’s debut match for Dynmaite, the very nice/very evil one was squashed by Nese. Hook would come out to make the save, forming the highly anticipated team of HOOK-Hausen.

The long awaited match between MJF and Wardlow will also be taking place at Double or Nothing, providing Wardlow can get past MJF’s conditions. During Dynamite, a contract signing took place with the stipulations revealed. Firstly, Wardlow must take 10 whippings from MJF. If Wardlow survives the first test, he must then face Shawn Spears inside of a steel cage, with MJF acting as special guest referee for the match. If Wardlow defeats Spears, the match will be official for Double or Nothing.

If Wardlow can surpass the conditions set by MJF and defeat Maxwell Jacob Friedman, then he will be free from MJF’s contract. However, if MJF were to be victorious over Wardlow, then Mr. Mayhem can never sign a contract with AEW.

The updated card for AEW Double or nothing is as follows:

  • Hook and Danhausen vs. Tony Nese and Smart Mark Sterling.

Main Card

  • Thunder Rosa (c) vs. Serena Deeb – Singles match for the AEW Women’s Championship.
  • “Hangman” Adam Page (c) vs. CM Punk – Singles match for the AEW World Championship.
  • Finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament.
