WWE SmackDown & AEW Rampage Ratings 6/5/22

The ratings for the May 6th editions of WWE SmackDown and AEW Rampage have been published. On average, 1.998 million people watched SmackDown while 292,000 people watched Rampage. The numbers have been obtained by Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:

Compared to the previous week, SmackDown has seen a small increase in viewers while Rampage has seen a significant drop. As the April 29th episode of WWE SmackDown drew an average audience of 1.953 million, the increase calculates to approximately 2.3%. In regards to key demographic viewership, SmackDown obtained a 0.46 rating in the 18 to 49 age range, also up from the 0.38 rating from April 29th.

The earlier start time for AEW Rampage has substantially affected the ratings. As the April 29th episode of Rampage drew an average audience of 464,000, the drop calculates to approximately 37%. Rampage drew a 0.11 rating in the key demographic age range, also down from the 0.14 rating from April 29th.

SmackDown saw the final build to the WrestleMania Backlash Premium Live Event while Rampage unveiled the bracket for the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament.
