WWE have announced a steel cage match will be taking place on an upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw.

It was announced on the May 9th broadcast that Bobby Lashley and Omos will be locked inside the cage on the May 16th edition of the red brand. At WrestleMania Backlash, The Nigerian Giant defeated the former WWE Champion following multiple interference spots from Lashley’s former manager MVP. The All Mighty hopes to utilise the cage to neutralise MVP and to settle rivalry.

Bobby Lashley would invade the VIP lounge on the May 9th Raw, quickly dispatching the ringside security and Cedric Alexander before storming to the ring. After quickly sending Omos to the outside, Lashley would turn his attention to MVP. However, Alexander would return to the ring to allow MVP to escape. Bobby Lashley would then dispatch Cedric Alexander to stand tall and close the segment out.

In a backstage segment later in the show, Bobby Lashley would demand the steel cage, which was made official shortly afterwards.
