Rhea Ripley Joins Edge’s Judgment Day Faction

Rhea Ripley is the latest member of the WWE roster to join Edge’s Judgment Day faction following the events that took place at WrestleMania Backlash.

Edge and AJ Styles faced off at WrestleMania Backlash in a rematch from WrestleMania. Edge won the first match due to a distraction after a distraction from Damian Priest. In the weeks following WrestleMania, the duo were collectively known as Judgment Day in WWE. On the Raw before WrestleMania Backlash, AJ Styles defeated Damian Priest, meaning that Priest was barred from ringside for the match at the Premium Live Event.

Towards the end of the match, Priest would make his way down the entrance ramp. The former United States Champion protested the referee, claiming that he was behind the ringside mat, and therefore not technically at the ringside area. Finn Balor would then run down to neutralise Damian Priest as Styles remained on the top rope. As it looked like Styles was about to jump from the top, he was pushed off by a hooded figure and crashing into the ropes. Edge would lock in a submission hold shortly afterwards, causing Styles to pass out and give the WWE Hall of Famer the victory.

Shortly after the bell rang, the hooded figure made their way into the ring. The hood was then removed to reveal that Rhea Ripley was Edge’s accomplice. The pair posed as Edge’s music played to close the match segment.
