The ratings for the May 2nd edition of Monday Night Raw have been published. On average, 1.581 million people watched the go home show for WrestleMania Backlash. The numbers have been obtained by Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:
Raw has seen a drop in viewers compared to the previous week. As the April 25th episode of Raw drew an average audience of 1.613 million, the drop calculates to approximately 2%. It should be noted the the May 2nd Raw took place on the Labour Day holiday, with many tv shows seeing a decline in viewership over national holidays.
Raw saw 491,000 people aged between 18 and 49 years old watch the final build to WrestleMania Backlash, equating to a 0.38 rating. This is also down from the 0.44 rating from April 25th. As reported by ShowBuzz Daily, Raw ranked 4th overall for key demographic viewership on Monday night. The NBA playoffs took the top 3 spots in the rankings.
