Tyson Fury has teased a return to WWE later this year.
On Saturday April 23rd, Fury defeated Dillian Whyte to retain the WBC Heavyweight Title in front of a sold out crowd in Wembley Stadium. The Gypsy King knocked out Whyte with a brutal uppercut in round six, with the referee declaring the stoppage shortly afterwards.
In the post match press conference, Tyson Fury was asked about a possible return to WWE, with the interviewer referencing the recently announced Premium Live Event due to take place at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Fury responded by saying that it shouldn’t be rules out and he might also be at SummerSlam in August:
Fury called out Drew McIntyre in the response, with the boxer and the firmer WWE Champion trading insults over social media recently.
If Tyson Fury returns to the squared circle, this will be the Heavyweight Champion’s second match for WWE. Fury faced Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel 2019, where the boxing star was victorious after knocking Braun Strowman out of the ring, with he former WWE star unable to answer the 10 count.
