AJ Styles and Edge will face off for a second time at the WrestleMania Backlash Premium Live Event, which will take place on Sunday May 8th.

In a backstage segment on the April 18th Raw, Damian Priest and Edge explained their actions over the past few weeks. Edge stated that he and Priest have not lived up to their capabilities, going on to say that Priest has been overlooked in the past 2 WrestleManias. Edge would then officially challenge AJ Styles to a rematch at WrestleMania Backlash, to which Styles would accept later in the show.

The Phenomenal One and the WWE Hall of Famer faced off for the first time at WrestleMania 38. Edge would be victorious at WrestleMania following new ally Damian Priest distracting AJ Styles, allowing Edge to pick up the victory.

The current line-up for WrestleMania Backlash is as follows:

• Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins.
• Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Ronda Rousey – “I Quit” match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
• Rk-Bro (c) vs. The Usos (c) – Winner takes all match to unify the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships.
• AJ Styles vs. Edge.
