The April 8th edition of WWE SmackDown will be live from the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is the first episode of SmackDown since WrestleMania 38, meaning that returns, debuts and possible NXT call-ups could take place on the show.
At the time of writing, no matches have been officially announced to take place on the show. However, a big segment featuring Roman Reigns has been announced. At WrestleMania 38, Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar in the main event to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. It is expected that Reigns’ next challenger or if the 2 titles will be unified into one championship is expected to be announced on SmackDown. It should be noted that Lesnar has not been advertised to appear.
Ronda Rousey has been advertised to appear live on SmackDown. Rousey was unsuccessful in challenging for the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania. Expect to hear what is next for Rousey on SmackDown.
