The ratings for the April 1st editions on WWE SmackDown and AEW Rampage have been published. On average, 2.359 million people watched SmackDown and 456,000 watched Rampage. The numbers have been obtained by Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:
Both shows have seen an increase in viewers compared to the previous week. As the March 25th episode of SmackDown drew an average audience of 2.180 million viewers, the increase calculates to approximately 8.2%. In regards to key demographic viewership, SmackDown saw 799,000 people aged between 18 and 49 years old watch the show, equating to a 0.61 rating. This rating is substantially up from the 0.49 rating from March 25th.
In regards to AEW Rampage, as the March 25th show drew an average audience of 425,000 viewers, the increase calculates to approximately 7.3%. Rampage saw 193,000 people aged between 18 and 49 years old watch the show, equating to a 0.15 rating. This is also slightly up from the 0.14 rating from March 25th.
SmackDown was presented as a WrestleMania version of the product, and featured The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal take place. Rampage saw the continuation of the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
