Sasha Banks and Naomi are the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions following a victory at WrestleMania 38.

Banks and Naomi won the titles in a Fatal 4 Way match on night 2 of WrestleMania, defeating the former champions of Carmella and Queen Zelina and the other 2 teams of Natalya and Shayna Baszler and Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley.

The new champions had a special entrance, with The Boss driving to the ring in a bright green Lamborghini. The match itself was high paced from the opening bell, with multiple dives to the outside and big suplex spots. The ending of the match saw Naomi and Sasha Banks hit a double team facebuster onto Carmella to become the new champions.

This victory marks Naomi’s first reign as Tag Team Champion, adding to her accolades of being a former 2 time SmackDown Women’s Champion and winner of the 2018 Women’s Battle Royal. Sasha Banks is now a 3 time holder of the Women’s Tag Team Championships, having previously held the titles twice before with Bayley as her partner.
