Triple H has issued a statement on social media following the outpour of well wishes from the wrestling world. The 14 time World Champion recently announced his retirement from in-ring competition due to health issues on Friday March 25th.
Many wrestlers and fans have sent their best wishes and fond memories to The Game following the announcement. In a response on Twitter, Triple H has said that he humbled and grateful for all of the kind words, wishing that he could respond to everyone:
In the same interview, it was revealed that there was a possibility for Triple H to compete again before the announcement was made, with a match being discussed as early as WrestleMania 38.
