Paul Wight is hoping that he can get on the card for the March 30th edition of AEW Dynamite.
The upcoming episode of Dynamite will air from Colombia, South Carolina, which is the hometown of Paul Wight. The AEW star recently made an appearance on The Rob Brown Show, where the topic of wrestling in his hometown came up:
“I’m really hoping that a lot of fans will come out and experience AEW and see the difference. Myself, I’m talking to Tony Khan, I can’t exactly go book myself, but I’m trying real hard to get a match going so I can at least wrestle in my hometown in Columbia. I’m looking forward to competing that night. If not, I’ll definitely be there doing Elevation and doing commentary,”
While Wight may not be wrestling on the flagship show, there is still a possibility for the Colombia crowd to see the giant in action. Along with Dynamite, the South Carolina crowd will also be present for tapings of AEW Rampage and AEW Dark: Elevation will be taped.
Paul Wight has competed in 3 matches since signing with All Elite Wrestling, and has been victorious in all 3 contests. Wight’s debut came at the 2021 All Out pay-per-view, where he defeated QT Marshall.
