The March 16th edition of AEW Dynamite will be broadcast live from the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas. This episode of Dynamite will be a special edition of the show, entitled “St. Patrick’s Day Slam.”
Multiple championship matches will be taking place on the show. The first title match is for the TNT Championship. Following Scorpio Sky’s shock win over Sammy Guevara to become the new TNT Champion, Sky will be putting the title on the line against Wardlow, who won the opportunity at Revolution by being victorious in the Face of the Revolution ladder match.
The second championship match will see the AEW Women’s Championship defended. At Revolution, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. defeated Thunder Rosa to retain the title. On March 9th, Rosa earned another opportunity at the championship, with the match signed for March 16th. To keep out interference, the match has been announced to be a steel cage match.
The following matches and segments will be taking place on Dynamite:
- Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson vs. Chuck Taylor and Wheeler Yuta
- Scorpio Sky (c) vs. Wardlow – Singles match for the TNT Championship.
- Britt Baker (c) vs. Thunder Rosa – Steel Cage match for the AEW Women’s Championship.
- Adam Cole and reDRagon vs. “Hangman” Adam Page and Jurassic Express
- Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Daniel Garcia and 2.0 host the Jericho Appreciation Society Commencement
