Jeff Hardy has joined All Elite Wrestling, making a surprising debut on the Match 9th episode of AEW Dynamite.
Hardy’s debut took place during the AHFO [Andrade Hardy Family Office] emergency meeting. At Revolution, the team of Matt Hardy, Andrade El Idolo and Isiah Kassidy lost to the team of Sammy Guevara, Sting and Darby Allin. Andrade held a vote to remove Matt Hardy from the group, which ended up being unanimous. The faction would turn on Matt, but Sting and Darby Allin would make their way to the ring to provide backup. As the numbers game caught up with the trio, the iconic Hardy Boyz music hit, and Jeff Hardy stormed to the ring.
Jeff would clear the ring of the Andrade faction and would go on to hit a Swanton Bomb. The Hardy Boyz hugged to a massive ovation from the AEW live crowd.
Jeff Hardy was shockingly released from his WWE contract in December 2021. It should be noted that March 9th was the first day that Hardy’s no compete clause expired, meaning that he showed up for AEW at the earliest opportunity.
The Hardy Boyz are one of the most successful tag teams in wrestling history. As a team, the brothers have captured over 10 tag team championships across various promotions in their illustrious careers.
