The ratings have been revealed for the March 4th editions of WWE SmackDown and AEW Rampage. On average, 2.261 million people watched Friday Night SmackDown while 545,000 watched Rampage. the numbers have been obtained by Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:
Compared to the previous week, both shows have seen an increase in viewers. In regards to SmackDown, as the February 25th show drew an average audience of 2.114 million, the increase calculates to approximately 7%. Of the 2.261 million viewers, 770,000 were aged in the key demographic range of 18 to 49 years old, equating to a 0.59 rating. This is also up from the February 25th rating of 0.57.
In regards to AEW Rampage, as the February 25th show drew an average audience of 473,000, the increase calculates to approximately 15.2%. Of the 545,000 viewers, 287,000 viewers were aged between 18 and 49 years old, equating to a 0.22 rating. This rating is also up from the 0.18 rating from February 25th.
WWE SmackDown saw more matches announced for WrestleMania, including celebrities Pat McAfee and Johnny Knoxville competing at the premium live event. Rampage saw the final build to the Revolution pay-per-view take place.
