Sami Zayn will be facing off against Johnny Knoxville at WrestleMania.

The match was made official following the events that took place on the March 4th episode of SmackDown. Sami Zayn was battling Ricochet on the show, with Zayn’s Intercontinental Championship at stake during the match. Following a distraction by Johnny Knoxville, Ricochet surprised Zayn with a hurricanrana rollup to become the new Intercontinental Champion.

Zayn was incensed by the outcome, and demanded that Johnny Knoxville face him at WrestleMania. The actor accepted the challenge, and the match has now been made official for the show.

Both Zayn and Knoxville have been at odds since early 2021, with the rivalry starting before the Royal Rumble. Zayn did not think that Knoxville had what it took to enter the Royal Rumble, as was the one responsible for eliminating the Jackass star from the match.

Saturday April 2nd:

• Becky Lynch (c) vs. Bianca Belair – Singles match for the Raw Women’s Championship.

Sunday April 3rd:

• Roman Reigns (c) vs. Brock Lesnar (c) – Champion vs. Champion match for the WWE and Universal Championships.
• Johnny Knoxville vs. Sami Zayn
• Queen Zelina and Carmella (c) vs. Sasha Banks and Naomi – Tag team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Day TBC:

• Edge vs. AJ Styles
• Pat McAfee vs. Austin Theory.
