Multiple Matches Added To AEW Revolution 2022

Two championship matches have been added to the AEW Revolution pay-per-view, which will take place on Sunday March 6th.

The first match concerns the AEW World Championship. At Revolution, “Hangman” Adam Page will face Adam Cole for the title. The announcement was made official by Tony Khan on the February 18th Rampage. The two men were expected to collide following the showdown between Page and Cole following the champion’s successful retention over Lance Archer in a Texas Death Match.

The other championship match announced regards the AEW Women’s Championship, as champion Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. will face number 1 ranked competitor Thunder Rosa at Revolution. This will be the first time that Baker and Rosa have faced off since the brutal Lights Out match that took place in March 2021. While Rosa won this encounter, the match did not count towards either competitor’s win/loss record due to the match being unsanctioned.

The updated card for AEW Revolution is as follows:

  • “Hangman” Adam Page (c) vs. Adam Cole – Singles match for the AEW World Championship.
  • Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. (c) vs. Thunder Rosa – Singles match for the AEW Women’s Championship.
  • CM Punk vs. MJF – Dog Collar match.
  • Keith Lee vs. Wardlow vs. Powerhouse Hobbs vs. 3 TBA – Face of the Revolution ladder match. The winner will receive a future opportunity at the TNT Championship.
  • Jurassic Express (c) vs. TBA vs. TBA – Triple threat match for the AEW Tag team Championships.
