Johnny Gargano has announced the news that his wife Candice LeRae has given birth to their first child on February 17th. Gargano has posted a picture of their new-born son Quill on social media:
The name is believed to be a reference to Marvel comics, in which Gargano is a big fan of as seen by his multiple Marvel themed ring gears used at TakeOver events. Peter Quill is the main character in the Guardians of the Galaxy series, who is played by Chris Pratt in the movie adaptation.
The former NXT Champion is currently not under contract with any promotion. Johnny Gargano stated in his farewell to NXT that his priority now is being a father and caring for his wife and son. It is unknown when or where Johnny Wrestling will show up next following the departure from NXT.
