Keith Lee Signs With All Elite Wrestling

Keith Lee has signed with AEW. The Limitless One made a surprise appearance and in-ring debut on the February 9th edition of AEW Dynamite.

It was announced ahead of the show that Isiah Kassidy would be facing a mystery opponent in a Face of the revolution ladder match qualifier. As Kassidy waited in the ring, the new music of Keith Lee rang out through the arena, gaining a big pop from the audience in Atlantic City.

Lee would quickly defeat Kassidy to qualify and also got the chance to showcase his signature agility for a man of his size. Matt Hardy, who was at ringside and looked shocked at the debut, walked out on Isiah Kassidy and left Private Party alone with Keith Lee. After the match, Private Party tried to attack Lee, but the new signee stood tall to close the segment. The victory now means that Keith Lee is the first entrant in the ladder match at the Revolution pay-per-view, where the winner will receive an opportunity at the TNT Championship.

Keith Lee was shockingly released from his WWE contract back in November 2021, with multiple talent and fans expressing their anger at the decision on social media. In his time in WWE, Keith Lee would win the NXT Championship and North American Championship one time each before being called up to the main roster. The run on Monday Night Raw was heavily criticised, with Lee’s signature music and appearance being drastically altered.

The weekend before the pay-per-view, Lee married fellow wrestler Mia Yim. Features of Wrestling would like to take this opportunity to send our congratulations to the newly married couple.

The signing has also been confirmed by AEW president Tony Khan, with the customary graphic being posted on social media.
