The ratings are in for the January 28th editions of Friday Night SmackDown and AEW rampage. On average, 2.217 million people watched SmackDown while 601,000 people watched Rampage. The numbers have been obtained by Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:

Compared to the previous week, SmackDown has seen a drop in viewers while AEW Rampage has seen an increase. In regards to SmackDown, as January 21st saw an average viewership of 2.255 million viewers, the drop calculates to approximately 1.7%. with Rampage, the January 21st show saw an average viewership of 594,000 viewers, calculating to an increase of approximately 1.2%.

In regards to key demographic viewership, SmackDown drew a 0.56 rating in the 18 to 49 age range [down from 0.64] and Rampage drew 0.25 [up from 0.24].

SmackDown focused on the final build to the Royal Rumble while Rampage focused on multiple championship matches taking place.
