Wrestling Ratings For January 14th 2022

The ratings for the January 14th 2022 episodes of WWE SmackDown and AEW Rampage have been revealed. On average, 2.174 million people have watched the latest edition of SmackDown, while 526,000 people have watched AEW Rampage. The numbers have been obtained by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics:

Compared to the previous week, both shows have seen a drop in viewership. As the January 7th SmackDown drew an average audience of 2.271 million viewers, the change in viewership is a drop of approximately 4.3%. In regards to key demographic viewership, SmackDown drew a 0.56 rating, also down from the previous week’s 0.58.

In regards to AEW Rampage, the January 7th show drew an average audience of 588,000. The drop in viewership from the previous week to January 14th calculates to 10.5%. In regards to key demographic viewership, Rampage drew a 0.20 rating in the 18-49 age range, also down from the 0.24 rating of January 7th.

SmackDown continued the build towards the Royal Rumble, while Rampage saw the first defence of new AEW Tag Team Champions Jurassic Express.
