John Cena Comments On Possible WrestleMania Appearance

John Cena has discussed whether or not he will be making an appearance at WrestleMania 38. Cena was recently a guest on The Ellen Show to promote the upcoming Peacemaker TV series. In regards to being in Dallas in April, the 16 time World Champion has said the following:

“WrestleMania is usually in late March, early April. I don’t know if I’m going to make it this year. That’s a good conundrum to have because there are a lot of good opportunities coming up, which I would love to take. If all those things line up, I don’t know if I’ll be able to make WrestleMania. I will tell everybody watching, I’m not done with WWE by a long shot. That’s my home, I love it. I was able to go back during the summer for a few months and entertain audiences when they welcomed audiences back to arenas and I’ve far from had my last performance,”

While an appearance at WrestleMania 38 seems in doubt for Cena, the former WWE Champion is not done in the ring. As stated in the interview, Cena is nowhere near finished in the WWE. Judging by the reaction of fans from John Cena’s recent return in 2021, it appears that the WWE Universe are also happy to see a John Cena return again.

WrestleMania has been the location for some of the biggest points in John Cena’s career. WrestleMania 20 saw Cena capture his first championship in WWE by defeating The Big Show for the United States Championship. The following year, Cena would defeat JBL to win the first of his 16 World Championships in WWE.

John Cena’s most recent WrestleMania appearance took place at WrestleMania 36, which took place behind closed doors due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Cena took place in the cinematic Firefly Fun House match against “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.
