The January 7th edition of SmackDown will be broadcast live from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The show will mainly focus on the fallout from Day 1 in regards to the blue brand.
The Universal Champion will be appearing live on SmackDown. Following a positive COVID-19 case, Roman Reigns has been medically cleared and will be at the show.
Roman Reigns is not the only champion advertised to appear. Following the events of Day 1, new WWE Champion Brock Lesnar has said that he will be at SmackDown and will see Roman Reigns when he gets there.
At the time of writing, the Lesnar and Reigns confrontation is the only segment announced to take place by WWE. However, as multiple Raw stars have been announced for the Royal Rumble, expect some SmackDown stars to also declare themselves for the match on the show.
