A title change took place on the TBS premiere edition of AEW Dynamite. In the main event of the show, Jurassic Express defeated The Lucha Bros to become the new AEW Tag Team Champions. This victory ends the reign of The Lucha Bros at 123 days.

The match was high paced from the opening bell, which included a brutal Canadian Destroyer and Rey Fenix driven through a table by Luchasaurus. The closing moments of the match saw Jungle Boy counter a Made In Japan into a roll up to get the pinfall victory. Christian Cage made his way into the ring to present the titles to the new champions.

After the match, multiple tag teams made their way onto the entrance ramp, making their intentions clear to be next in line for the titles. Jurassic Express celebrated to “Tarzan Boy” as the show went off the air.

Unfortunately, an injury may have occurred to one of the competitors in the match. In the aforementioned table spot, Rey Fenix was seen holding his arm in pain after going through the table. PWInsder reports that Fenix was taken to the hospital after Dynamite, with the belief that a dislocated elbow occurred. The report also states that this would be a “blessing” all things considered. As seen in the video above, Fenix’s arm is blurred shortly after the impact, implying that the injury looked more severe.
