Why Advertised WWE Raw Match Did Not Take Place

The reason why a previously advertised match did not take place on WWE Raw has been revealed. As previously reported, the finals of the RK-Bro-nament finals were due to take place on the December 13th edition of Raw. However, shortly before the program was due to air, a digital exclusive was posted to WWE’s YouTube channel:

The finals of the RK-Bro-nament was due to see The Street Profits face Rey and Dominik Mysterio in a tag team match, with the winners facing RK-Bro for the Raw Tag Team Championships in the future. However, as reported by Sarah Schreiber, injuries were sustained to both teams, so the match would not be taking place on December 13th.

Instead, the announcement has been made that the finals have been postponed. As a result, The Street Profits and The Mysterios will face off in 2 weeks on the December 27th episode of Raw.

Raw mainly addressed the upcoming Day 1 pay-per-view on December 13th, with one new match added and one match changed on the show.
