Becky Lynch will defend the Raw Women’s Championship for a second time against Liv Morgan at the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view on January 1st.
Lynch defended the title against Morgan for the first time on the December 6th edition of Monday Night Raw in the main event of the show. The Man successfully defended the championship via a roll-up with assistance from the ropes.
On the December 13th Raw, Becky Lynch came out to gloat about her victory from the previous week. Liv Morgan interrupted and showed photographic proof that Lynch had in fact cheated her way to victory. Morgan then challenged Lynch to a rematch at Day 1 and tried to attack the champion. However, Lynch got the upper hand and placed Morgan’s arm in the steel steps, and then proceeded to dropkick the stairs. As Liv was lying in pain on the ground, Lynch then accepted the rematch.

The WWE Day 1 pay-per-view will take place on Saturday January 1st. The current card for the event is as follows:
