The December 7th edition of NXT will focus on the fallout from the WarGames pay-per-view, which took place on Sunday December 5th.
At WarGames, Von Wagner turned on his tag team partner Kyle O’Reilly, following the duo’s failed attempt to capture the NXT Tag Team Championships from Imperium. To attempt to get even with Von Wagner, O’Reilly has challenged his former partner to a match inside a Steel Cage, which will take place on the show.
This may also be the final appearance for one of the biggest names in NXT. At WarGames, Johnny Gargano addressed the crowd and said that he would explain everything to the NXT Universe on December 7th.
The following matches and segments have been advertised to take place on NXT:
- Johnny Gargano to address his future with NXT.
- Kyle O’Reilly vs. Von Wagner – Steel Cage match.
- The identity of The Shaman will be revealed to MSK.
- Santos Escobar vs. Xyon Quinn.
It should also be noted that NXT have announced a tv special to take place in early January 2022. The special will be titled New Year’s Evil.
