The ratings have been published for the December 3rd editions of Friday Night SmackDown and AEW Rampage. On average, 2.030 million people watched SmackDown, while 499,000 viewers watched Rampage. The numbers have been obtained by Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:
Compared to the previous week, SmackDown has seen a drop in viewers. As November 26th drew an average audience of 2.149 million viewers, the drop in viewers calculates to approximately 5.5%. The 18-49 demographic viewing number came in at 666,000 viewers, equating to a 0.51 rating, also down from the Black Friday rating of 0.57. As noted by Thurston, this is is the lowest key demographic rating since July.
By contrast, AEW Rampage saw an increase in viewers. As November 26th saw the lowest ever rating for Rampage with a rating of 431,000, the increase in viewers calculates to approximately 15.8%. The 18-49 viewership was revealed to be 241,000 viewers, equating to a 0.18 rating, equal to the previous week.
SmackDown was predominantly built around the return of Brock Lesnar, eventually setting up Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar again at Day 1. AEW Rampage was headlined by the team of PAC and Penta facing FTR.
