Sheamus Added To SmackDown Survivor Series Team

Sheamus is the final member of the men’s Survivor Series team representing SmackDown. The Celtic Warrior defeated Jinder Mahal, Ricochet and Cesaro in a Fatal 4 Way match on the go-home edition of the blue brand.

Originally, Sami Zayn was a part of team blue during the initial team announcements on social media. However, on the November 12th episode of SmackDown, Jeff Hardy defeated Sami Zayn, with the stipulation being that whoever lost would be off of the team. The Fatal 4 Way was set for the November 19th show, which was won by Sheamus in his first match since being drafted to SmackDown.

The men’s SmackDown team now consists of Sheamus, Jeff Hardy, Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin and King Woods. They will face the Raw men’s team on Sunday November 21st. Representing team Raw will be Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley and Austin Theory.

Despite not being on the men’s team, Sami Zayn will still be competing at Survivor Series. Zayn will be one of 25 participants in a Battle Royal to mark 25 years since The Rock’s debut in WWE.
