Paul Heyman threatened to get involved in the dark match that took place after SmackDown went off the air. A 6 man tag team match that saw Big E, Xavier Woods and Drew McIntyre face Roman Reigns and The Usos took place after the cameras stopped rolling.
In the video filmed by Twitter user VINR10 the crowd at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut started chanting “ECW!” Heyman was irate by this, and proceeded to take off his suit jacket and throw it to the ground. The special counsel then teased getting into the ring, but instead grabbed a microphone. Heyman said the following to Xavier Woods and then to the live crowd:
“I am the Jew in Jiu-Jitsu, and when I get into this ring, I will show you why ECW is dead! I wish the same for each and every single one of you!”
This is not the first time that Paul Heyman has got involved in SmackDown dark matches. A few weeks ago, Heyman actually stepped foot inside the ring, but it did not go to plan:
