Roman Reigns Comments On Rumoured Rock Appearance And Match

Roman Reigns has commented on the rumours that The Rock may be appearing at Survivor Series and a possible match sometime in the future. The Universal Champion recently appeared on The Tonight Show hosted by Jimmy Fallon. Reigns was asked by Fallon if he had heard any rumours around The Great One possibly making an appearance at the November 21st pay-per-view:

“These are rumours, you’re saying?,” Reigns asked. “I have not heard these rumours, and I would think I am closer than anybody at this point. So I don’t know, it’s not what I have heard but I also debuted at Survivor Series as well, so there’s a nice little tie-in.”

It looks like the rumoured Rock and Roman Reigns confrontation will not be taking place on Sunday. Along with The Tribal Chief shooting down potential reports, another report has claimed that The Rock is currently in Australia filming, so will not be able to make an appearance at Survivor Series. However, Reigns has not completely cancelled out the idea of a future match between The Head of the table and The Great One:

“I would, yes,” Reigns said. “I don’t know if he wants it, but… that’s kind of something that we do in our family, as far as sports entertainment, professional wrestling, WWE. This is our platform, this is our family business. I fought one of my cousins of The Usos, Jey Uso, about a year ago, and where better to kind of solve our problems than the squared circle, you know? In a WWE ring.”

Roman Reigns will be representing SmackDown in Survivor Series in a champion vs. champion match. Reigns will be facing WWE Champion Big E on the November 21st pay-per-view.
