The October 12th edition of NXT will look to continue the build towards the upcoming NXT special episode Halloween Havoc, which is set to return on Tuesday October 26th.
There is also a championship match taking place on the show, which potentially may tie up some loose ends before the results of the WWE Draft takes place. NXT North American Champion Isaiah “Swerve” Scott will be defending his title on the show. As Scott and the rest of the Hit Row faction have been drafted to SmackDown in night one of the WWE Draft. With this in mind, it is likely that Isaiah “Swerve” Scott will be dropping the title before the main roster call up.
The following matches and segments have been announced by WWE to take place on NXT 2.0:
- Isaiah “Swerve” Scott vs. Santos Escobar – Singles match for the NXT North American Championship.
- Tommaso Ciampa vs. Joe Gacy – If Joe Gacy wins, he will be added to Bron Breakker vs. Ciampa NXT Championship match at Halloween Havoc.
- Von Wagner and Kyle O’Reilly vs. Ridge Holland and Pete Dunne
- Episode 2 of “Lashing Out with Lash Legend”
